Last week, when NASCAR returned after months of no real-life racing Brad won a surprise pole position in The Real Heroes 400 at Darlington. What’s more, besides the result of pure chance, there was nothing the drivers could do with the exception of pause, watch, and expectation.

NASCAR’s overhauled framework worked like a fantasy for some drivers. Keselowski, the 2018 Southern 500 victor, hopped from tenth in the standings to first on the 36-vehicle grid. However, for other people like Kevin Harvick, things didn’t wind up so well as the Stewart-Haas Racing driver drew the No. 6 place.
