We all have moments in life that may be both funny and, sometimes, a tad embarrassing. Former NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. had just such an experience. He recently shared a tweet regarding what happened to him while at the drop of the line at school.

Junior said, Well I just accidentally hit the horn with my elbow in the drop-off line at school this morning.” He dropped ’embarrassed’ and ‘laughing’ emojis to cap off the Tweet.

His sudden unexpected honk must have surely turned a few heads or jump scares along the way. He also might have felt sheepish about the entire episode. But eventually, he saw the sarcastic angle of the incident.

Fans react to Dale Earnhardt Jr’s hilarious moment

When fans saw Junior’s tweet, they burst out in laughter and suggested that Earnhardt Jr should change schools or he’d forever be called “that guy.”

One fan stated that Junior’s honk would be implying that the late model racer wanted the other parents to move faster and drop off their kids quickly, so Junior could head back. While another asked him not to pull off a Richard Petty and give people the chrome horn. Another fan said that it was a poor way to convince Junior’s wife that he should not be the one going to drop off the kids at school. Call it whatever, it was hilarious for all parties involved at the end.
