Finally, after all the wait, there have been rumblings about a contract extension being worked upon for the Hendrick Motorsports driver, Alex Bowman. Recently, eminent NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass revealed that there indeed were talks taking place for an extension. Moreover, Pockrass also had the chance to have a word about the deal directly with Bowman. As per Pockrass’s recent tweet, he mentioned that he was able to catch up with Alex Bowman during the production days. During this time, he caught up with the driver.

Bowman has been pretty good with HMS these past few years. Moreover, he has also been consistent with his results. Another thing to notice is that Bowman has been getting himself into the playoffs for the last five seasons back to back. That in itself gives enough proof that he is up for the challenge to push ahead with time and effort. However, everyone in the NASCAR community did not well accept his surprise news about his HMS extension. Some even chose to take a shot at the driver.
