Denny Hamlin won his fifth race of the season in the NASCAR Cup Series while Brandon Jones won the Xfinity Series race in the last lap, as the exciting weekend action came to an end at the Kansas Speedway.
Austin Hill and Matt Crafton shared the honors in the Truck Series. Bret Holmes won the ARCA Series race this weekend.

In the most enthralling race of the weekend, Brandon Jones edged in-form Austin Cindric in a last gasp overtime finish.

Jones’ victory ended a three-race winning streak for Cindric, giving Jones himself a second win this year.
Cindric dominated most of the race, led for 131 laps, and comfortably won the first two stages. Jones kept fighting and passed Cindric just in the nick of time to win in dramatic fashion.
Jones’ victory came on the heels of four straight failed race finishes and a seventh-place finish at Texas.

In the NASCAR Cup Series race, Denny Hamlin found his way back to winning ways for a fifth race victory of the season.
After three finishes outside the Top-10, Hamlin dominated from the start of the race and held off a challenge from Brad Keselowski in the final few laps.
The race also saw drama towards the end with several playoff contenders involved in a crash that hurt their chances further.
Meanwhile, the first race of the Truck Series on Friday was won by Austin Hill, who secured a playoff spot. Hill showed his class to win ahead of Brett Moffitt and led for 65 laps of the 134-lap race.
He grabbed the lead from Moffitt after the final restart and did not let go.

In the second Truck Series race of the weekend, Matt Crafton won his first race in three years. Crafton held off a late challenge from Christian Eckes and ended a 67-race streak without a win.
He also secured a playoff spot in the Truck Series with the win on Saturday.
The race also marked Travis Pastrana’s return to NASCAR. He had an eventful race as he crashed his truck, bringing out the caution. Pastrana eventually managed to carry on and finish in 22nd place.
