Beef is common in NASCAR and like in most sports, restricted to the players involved on the track. But sometimes you see drivers fight against the journalists. And that’s exactly what happened when John Hunter Nemechek, from Kyle Busch’s Truck Series team, shot a Tweet at prominent journalist Bob Pockrass.

And fans suspect there’s some beef.

KBM driver, Nemechek, had his race cut short after a wreck at the Texas Motor Speedway Truck race. And Pockrass took an interview of the driver and reported that he felt Justin Allgaier ran him over.

But the Truck Series driver was clearly unhappy with what he wrote. He claimed that he never even said anyone ran him over. In fact, he didn’t even say the word “run over” as he shot a Tweet back at the Journalist to clarify.

He sure sounds a little passive-aggressive, and understandably so. It looks like a misunderstanding between the driver and the journalist, which isn’t too uncommon. But obviously, as a credible journalist, Pockrass has to defend himself and what he said, which he did.

And the fans started suspecting there’s some beef between the two.

Of course, KBM is a Toyota team, but Busch is heading over to Richard Childress Racing, leaving the Toyota family behind. So what will happen?
