Female NASCAR Driver Makes a Successful Recovery, Set to Rejoin the Grid Soon

Niece Motorsports NASCAR Truck Series driver Natalie Decker was hospitalized with bile duct complexities identified with her gallbladder removal back in December.

Natalie Decker has been discharged from the hospital following a long stay. It was finished on Tuesday when the last procedure took place.

She was scheduled to contend in the NASCAR truck race at the Pocono Raceway on Saturday, June 27, however that didn’t occur because of her hospitalization. She spent her 23rd birthday in the hospital on Thursday, June 25.

Bayley Currey supplanted her in the driver’s seat of the #44 Chevrolet in that race. The race was eventually deferred to Sunday, June 28 because of a downpour. Currey, who drove for the group in two races last season, completed in a decent sixteenth spot.

Six Truck Series NASCAR races have been completed so far this season, and Decker contended in the initial three. She started the season with a career-high fifth spot finish at Daytona International Speedway. This was the best-ever finish for a female driver in the Truck Series.

She then finished the race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the 21st spot before the season was suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic. No NASCAR races happened for over three months.

In the principal race back at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which occurred 95 days after the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, she completed in the 27th spot.

She was not booked to contend in the races at Atlanta Motor Speedway or Homestead-Miami Speedway. Of her nine planned races, the single she missed because of her hospitalization occurred at Pocono Raceway.

NASCAR driver Natalie Decker is back

Presently Decker is out of the hospital after a long stay. She affirmed this on Tuesday via social media that she had been discharged after her last procedure.

She said: “I had my last procedure today. I’m home. I’m happy. And my next wristband will say Kentucky on it cause I’m back and racing this weekend!!”

She additionally affirmed that she is set to be back in racing this Saturday for the Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway, a race wherein she had initially been scheduled to contend.
