CARS Tour is back for its 2025 season, burning rubber across the Southeast. With a lineup of racing royalty at the helm — Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick, and Justin Marks- the tour is delivering thrilling action that is anything but ordinary. This past week, the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway played host to a doubleheader of Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model shows, coinciding with NASCAR’s All-Star Race. While the stories that came off the racetrack were about the teams and drivers, it was also a full-circle moment for FOX broadcaster Kaitlyn Vincie.

She has become a voice that every NASCAR fan now recognizes. Having worked 14 years with the network, she has dipped her toe in every possible broadcasting role. Although Vincie is a regular on Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour podcast, she was able to get back on track, thanks to the collaboration between Dale Jr.’s CARS Tour and FOX. Friday’s Late Model Stock car event was the first one that was televised on FS1, and Vincie felt special to be a part of this special event.

“full circle moments > A special weekend seeing @CARSTour on FS1. Big moment for short track racing & for the Series w/incredible people behind it. I did my first on-camera bit with CARS back in ‘09, @LowLightNLeft.” Vincie posted on X. Back in the day, Vinice started reporting from Langley Speedway, and her rise to the top of NASCAR’s broadcast came with SPEED Channel, which soon got converted to FOX Sports 1 and 2. Perhaps this was the start of the bigger role for Vincie with FOX and the CARS Tour, and she certainly won’t turn down an opportunity to work with them again. Especially, now that FOX’s NASCAR run has come to an end after the All-Star weekend.

But, despite her efforts, some fans just found a reason to spoil the night for Vincie. As Landen Lewis secured his second consecutive victory, driving the #29 car for Kevin Harvick Inc., in the 2025 zMAX CARS Tour, the interview by Fox Sports had to be covered on the front stretch, as soon as the driver got out of his car. In response a fan wrote, “I’m so damn tired of these front stretch interviews was hoping they would’ve kept this out of the cars tour and let them do the VL interviews but no Big Fox has to ruin anything they touch.”

But it didn’t matter as Dale Jr. shut down these comments complimenting Vincie and the FOX broadcasting team. We didn’t have the time on air to ride the elevator to the roof to get the interview. So this was the best alternative. Great interview by @landenlewis99 and @kaitlynvincie also.” Interestingly, this wasn’t Vincie’s only on-track adventure this year, as her return at COTA left her teary-eyed.

Kaitlyn’s Emotional Takeover at NASCAR Cup Series

Kaitlyn Vincie has been convincingly consistent in her reporting career, which does demand promotions, and she was given one. She got the opportunity to replace Jamie Little for her first on-air appearance during the NASCAR Cup Series event at the Circuit of the Americas during the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix in March.

Although being great at her job, Vincie remembers to acknowledge her seniors, and when given such a huge opportunity, she could not hold back her emotions. The 37-year-old reporter cried during the process, expressing her gratitude to Little. “It was the Sunday show. It was Circuit of the Americas. It was on Fox,” Vincie said. “I did take a moment before we got going with the pre-race show, I just walked the length of the grid to take it in, take that moment in and think about where I came from and where I’ve gotten.”

Despite being in the industry for such a long time, she still has goals and ambitions. She expressed her wish to be a regular during Sunday’s mega NASCAR event. “I would love to be a regular fixture on the Sunday show in some capacity, whether it’s pit road or a pre-race type role.” While Jamie returned to IndyCar coverage as a pit reporter for Fox in St. Petersburg, Florida, Vincie continues to report major ongoing events for NASCAR on the field. Regardless, her expertise is widely appreciated by drivers and reporters alike as she continues to strive for more in the future.
