“Hope I Don’t Make Any More Mistakes” – Kyle Larson Finally Opens Up On Bubba Wallace Saga Amid Million Dollar Loss For Michael Jordan’s Driver

Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson had quite the tussle at Las Vegas, which led to Wallace assaulting the Hendrick Motorsports driver. What started from a car being pushed wide led to the drivers having a fistfight. But after the 23XI driver lost a million and was forced to sit out of a race, he talked to the #5 driver.

Seems like the two have finally cleared the air around the controversy.

The NASCAR field heads to Martinsville Speedway for the Xfinity 500. And during a press conference, Larson revealed that he and Bubba got on a call and talked about what happened at Las Vegas. Although Larson pushed the #45 wide and hit the wall, Wallace went significantly more aggressive as he wrecked the #5 car out completely.

But they seem to have reached common ground as the Hendrick Motorsports driver reveals he had a “great conversation” with Bubba.

The 2021 cup series champion revealed, “I came downstairs and told my wife that Bubba and I had a great conversation. I thought it went really well and I think we both moved on from it really fast. [It] was good to talk and just talk over the frustrations and mistakes from both our parts, and kind of move on and forget about it and get back to racing. I feel like we’ve raced really well in the past together so, [I] hope I don’t make any more mistakes and continue to race.”

Of course, Wallace had to face the consequences of his actions, but he has no issues with it.

Of course, Wallace couldn’t race at Texas because he was suspended. Although it would be difficult for the driver to not be a part of their normal routine, he was okay with it.

Wallace explained, “Yeah, I mean I totally accept the penalty and the repercussions that come from my actions. I talked to (Steve) O’Donnell and I talked to (Steve) Phelps and I said, ‘Hey, I’m good with being the example if we can keep this consistent moving forward,’ because it’s happened multiple times this year and it’s something that may continue to happen you know, for other drivers down the road,”
