Sometime last year, the Joe Gibbs Racing team announced the recruitment of Christopher Bell. The 26-year-old made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 2020 with the Leavine Family Racing team. After some standout performances saw him notch up a couple of top-five finishes and 20th in the championship, someone definitely noticed.
That someone was Joe Gibbs, and the team promptly swooped in to recruit him. Recently, the team unveiled Bell’s racing overalls for the coming season. The newly-appointed #20 driver is set to don the yellow DeWalt overalls for the coming season.

What does the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season hold for Christopher Bell?
Obviously, parting with Leavine Family Racing was hard, but the outfit was on its way out of the sport. On the bright side, the 26-year-old received a big boost to his chances, in the form of two-time championship-winning crew chief, Adam Stevens.
The Stevens-Kyle Busch dream duo stormed to two NASCAR Cup Series titles. Now, the former moves garages to the No. 20 car with Bell after a long-standing association with the No. 18 team. Without a doubt, Christopher Bell is aware that he and Stevens need to work together seamlessly in order to keep up.
