At the end of this weekend, Kyle Larson could enter the history books with yet another achievement if he wins his third straight Chili Bowl title while being a defending NASCAR champ at the same time.

And it goes without saying that Larson won’t have it easy. Because there’s another history maker in the contention for the CBN title this year, Kaylee Bryson.

This is due to the fact that Bryson became the first woman ever to qualify for the A-Main event of the Chili Bowl. The 20-year-old from Oklahoma is now set to compete against the likes of Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, and more.

After her historic qualification, Bryson admitted she was “nervous all week long.” “Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been coming here, I’ve been watching, and I’ve just dreamed that maybe one day I can make the show,” she said.

“This year I finally did it, and I’m so pumped, I’m ready.”

And as for her win, Bryson said, “I saw they watered the top of the track, so it’s always good for five laps and somehow we pulled off a win in that, that’s freakin’ badass.”

Where do Kaylee Bryson and Kyle Larson start?

The lineup for the A-Main event promised an exciting Chili Bowl finale, to say the least.

Christopher Bell sits at the pole on the inside while Tanner Thorson starts on the outside. Then in the second row, it’s Rico Abreu and Justin Grant. In the third row, it’s Michael Kofoid and Tanner Carrick.

So now the big question. Will Kyle Larson win his third straight Chili Bowl title or will rival Christopher Bell beat him to the line?

Or will Kaylee Bryson end up writing more history?
