Kurt Busch Reveals Michael Jordan & Denny Hamlin’s Personal Promise to Him Amidst Tyler Reddick’s Arrival

Ever since Tyler Reddick announced that he’ll be joining 23XI Racing after 2023, there have been countless questions flying in the NASCAR community. And the most important one is, who is Reddick replacing? Kurt Busch, or Bubba Wallace?

Fortunately, Busch recently opened up about Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan’s promise regarding his seat.

In a recent press interview, the 2004 Cup Series Champion said that Reddick joining the team doesn’t put his seat in danger.

The reporter asked Busch, “Are you any closer to thinking about retirement than you were 2 years ago?”

To which he replied, “It’s still the same. It’s a matter of what is the right option.”

He added, “The great thing that I have right now is a lot of respect from the race team. Steve Lauletta, MJ [Michael Jordan], Denny [Hamlin], they all said I have a seat as long as I want.”

“That’s so valuable to me. It makes me smile and wanna race harder, and work hard.”

In the end, it’s great news that Busch is in the safe zone. However, who’s in danger? Will Bubba Wallace lose his seat?

Will Tyler Reddick Replace Bubba Wallace?

Of course, with Busch in the clear, the target now falls on Bubba Wallace’s back. Will 23XI Racing replace Wallace in 2024?

Fortunately, Steve Lauletta has some good news for fans of the #23 car!

Claire B Lang, of SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, revealed that Steve Lauletta plans on continuing with Bubba Wallace going forward.

Of course, it’s incredible news for both the 23XI Racing driver.
