“Hit by a Nut”: Kyle Busch Fires Angry Tweet at Aric Almirola for Causing an Accident

Kyle Busch wasn’t happy with the result at last night’s Cup Series race at Charlotte. He got into an incident with Aric Almirola and dropped to the back of the grid.

After the race, he posted his thoughts on Twitter. Kyle posts on Twitter, “When surrounded by squirrels you’re bound to get hit by a nut”. The tweet got mixed response from fans on Twitter. Some people even called him out on his Coca-Cola 600 incident with Chase Elliott. And many people supported Kyle’s stand and fired remarks at Almirola and Stenhouse.

Kyle was running at number ten before the incident and dropped down to the last place because of some issues with his left rear tire. At lap 63, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. made a bold four-wide move. Stenhouse’s move forced many drivers to make way and almost touch the inside line. However, Aric Almirola wasn’t able to control his car and went on the inside of Busch. He could not hang on and slipped into Busch’s No. 18 car resulting in a cut tire. After that, Busch lost two laps and dropped down to the bottom of the grid.

This isn’t the first incident between Kyle Busch and Aric Almirola

Kyle Busch is known for his ‘hot head’ attitude which has caused multiple banters in the past. Last year, he had a spat with Aric at the Texas Motor Speedway after an on-track incident during the Texas 500 Cup Series race.

Similarly, In the last year’s South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, his customary post-race frustration led to a snippy interview and some fiery tweets. In the race, Kyle made some comments during the post-race interview which started a banter. The incident happened after he made contact with a few backmarkers.
