Kyle Busch to Run This Striking Green Livery for NASCAR Daytona Road Course Race

For this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race, Kyle Busch will run a new livery. The idea is to celebrate the Joe Gibbs Racing partnership with Interstate Batteries. As it happens, the outfit has partnered with the brand for 30 years and were the founding partners.

So, instead of Busch’s usual M&Ms livery, he will run in a bright green Toyota Camry.

Although he has won on the Daytona road course during the Busch Clash, it may be a little more difficult from 14th on the grid. Also, considering that the Truck race took place on a damp track, the rain is also a major factor.

Nevertheless, Kyle Busch will definitely try his hardest to snatch a victory. Truthfully speaking, he has very little to lose, considering that he put up a weak title defense in 2020. So, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is eager for redemption.

Can Kyle Busch win the race?

In theory, he can definitely win the race. It is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time to execute moves. Admittedly, he lucked out in the Busch Clash where he would have been in third place.

He capitalized on an incident between Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney. When those two tangled, Busch was close enough to strike and snatch a win. In these types of scenarios, an element of luck is necessary, so who is he to complain?

Of course, Elliott will be keen to not fall for the same trick twice, and another threat will be Daytona 500 winner, Michael McDowell.

In addition to that, there are plenty of drivers who are just as capable of winning the race. The big question on everyone’s mind is, can Kyle Busch make up for his lowly position and climb up the order to win?

Only time will tell on this Sunday, as long as the rain gods behave themselves.
