While Bassett Jr got the worst of the crash, Allgaier didn’t get away so easily either. The 34-year old took a quick trip to the hospital after reporting an irregular heart rate. As it turned out, Allgaier hit the wall multiple times after colliding with Bassett Jr. and Timmy Hill. Luckily, the two were promptly treated and released from the infield care center after the race. After some checkups, doctors gave Allgaier the green signal to race on Friday in the second leg of the doubleheader. Coming back to Justin Allgaier, he was supposed to start at P20 for Friday night’s race. However, he is one of eight drivers using a spare car. In other words, he and the seven other drivers will have to start from the rear of the field. Unfortunately for him, things have gotten a lot worse in the spare car because he reported several issues with the car. In spite of this, he still managed to finish in 5th place. Meanwhile, Bassett Jr was also able to race on Friday, but his race ended much too early for his liking. Justin Allgaier is an American stock vehicle racer. He contends full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Justin drives the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports and is additionally a substitute driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 48 Camaro ZL1 1LE for Hendrick Motorsports.

Justin is the 2008 ARCA Re/Max Series champion. Moreover, he is also the 2009 NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year.

Justin started his racing vocation at five years old in quarter midgets. He won over 100 races and five titles. He started stock vehicle racing at thirteen in the UMP Late Model Series. He raced for three seasons in the series. At sixteen years old, he raced in the ARCA Re/Max Series for the first time.

In May 2008, Allgaier marked an agreement with Penske Racing to drive four races in their No. 12 Dodge in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Allgaier then went on to drive the vehicle full-time in 2009. Justin presently races for JR Motorsports.

He finished the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity arrangement in the second position. Justin has won 14 races in the Xfinity series with 195 top 10 completions and 6 poles.
