The entire NASCAR world has been celebrating Kyle Busch’s record-breaking victory in the race at Fontana. After a rough start at the Daytona 500, this victory brought in a big cause of celebration for Rowdy and his team. But since this huge victory came only after his move to the Richard Childress Racing team, fans had an intriguing question to ask!

Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha’s heartfelt response

Samantha Busch, wife of Kyle, recently started a ‘ask away’ series on her Instagram for her fans. She has never shied away from interacting with her fans or answering any questions. The fan asked her if it was weird to watch her husband in the number 8 and not 18. For the uninitiated, Rowdy was associated with the Joe Gibbs Racing team and number 18 for about a decade and a half. But now he adorns number 8 and drives for Richard Childress Racing, and it proved to be a delight for him.

Samantha replied to the fan and posted it on her story. She even mentioned reasons why the transition has been easier on them. She wrote, “I’ll be honest, I thought it was going to be but it’s not. Immediately everyone at @rcrracing had made us feel like family and Kyle has such a pep in his step, that there’s just so much excitement surrounding it all. It’s been such a welcoming experience. I also think it’s easier not seeing the number and the m&ms scheme out in the track. I think that would have made it more difficult.”
