Tony Stewart Wants NASCAR to ‘Get off’ And Bring Back Kyle Larson

It’s been five months since NASCAR terminated and prohibited the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro driver Kyle Larson for the use of a racial slur during an iRacing stream while the 2020 NASCAR season was on rest due to COVID-19.

Larson has not contended in NASCAR since, yet the supporters of his return incorporate NASCAR Hall of Famer and SHR team owner Tony Stewart. As of late, Stewart supported Larson, saying that his punishment was adequately serious, and approached NASCAR to reestablish him.

Tony said, “NASCAR has gotta get off their ass and do the right thing and give this kid an opportunity to get back in a car.

“I think he’s paid his penalty and he’s served the penalty long enough where you know we’ve had similar instances in the sport that have happened and the penalties didn’t last as near as long as this has lasted with Kyle.”

“It’s changed Kyle’s world, it turned everything upside down and not only did it affect him. It affected his family and a lot of other people that didn’t deserve to be affected. So I think it’s been long enough.”

Will Kyle Larson make a comeback?

Kyle Larson is the 2014 Cup Series Rookie of the Year with six triumphs. He entered the 2020 season with the hopes of winning more races as the Chip Ganassi Racing’s star driver. However, his mistake cost him more than just a seat on his team. He was even dropped by his sponsors.

Larson had been connected to a seat at the four-car Ford group. He entered the 2020 season in an agreement. Stewart has consistently liked his capacities. Although, Kyle Larson needs to demand to be restored with NASCAR to push ahead with that cycle. He has not yet done as such.

Tony Stewart has been quite vocal about Kyle Larson’s punishment and termination.
