WATCH: Aric Almirola’s Hilarious ‘Vote for Bacon’ Campaign for the NASCAR All-Star Race Seat

Aric Almirola is pushing hard to keep his NASCAR All-Star race contention hopes alive. The driver is running a hilarious ‘Vote for Bacon’ campaign for his All-Star race seat. The All-Star Race will run next week on July 15th at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

The winner of the ‘All-Star Race’ fan vote will earn a spot in the NASCAR All-Star Race. And the result will be out after the ‘All-Star Open’.

Currently, the voting for the All-Star race seat is reaching its final days and everyone is pushing to earn a few extra votes. The voting is set to end soon and the final count will be done on July 14th at noon.

The result will come out at 7:00 PM EST on Wednesday, July 15th.

Currently, Aric sits at the 9th spot in the voting contest. To strengthen his case he came up with a really smart campaign for himself.

His campaign website states, “Let’s vote Aric into the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race, and you could win bacon for a year!”

After that, they write, “Submit your All-Star fan vote for Smithfield driver Aric Almirola! Plus, 10 lucky fans could win bacon for a year, a private meet & greet with Aric, and Stewart-Haas Racing Smithfield No. 10 merchandise!”

He posted a video on Twitter and wrote, “Not sure you needed another reason but THIS is why you should vote for bacon. http://VoteForBacon.com“.

Bubba Wallace leads in the NASCAR All-Star race seat voting

A few days ago, NASCAR revealed that Bubba Wallace was leading the votes for the NASCAR All-Star race bid. They posted a Tweet, With just over a week remaining, @BubbaWallace leads #AllStarRace fan voting!”

Bubba is receiving overwhelming support online for his role in the Black Lives Matter campaign. He was the flagbearer of the campaign against racial discrimination in NASCAR.

And his efforts encouraged NASCAR to make a historic decision to ban the confederate flag.
