With the 2020 season officially complete, the NASCAR drivers have nothing else to do. So, with the off-season underway, many of them are trying to get some practice in before the new season kicks off. Among them is Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Kyle Busch.

The 35-year-old is dipping his toe in the simulation world to get his adrenaline fix. While he cannot get the real deal until the season begins in early February, it does not mean that he will be idle. Other drivers are also following his example, like Chase Elliott, who is taking part in the Chili Bowl Nationals.

Kyle Busch will be keenly looking forward to the 2021 season

As the 2019 Cup Series champion, it was surprising to see that Busch was unable to mount a title defense. In fact, he did not even win a race until the 2020 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 in late October. While he was glad to break the jinx, Kyle Busch would have preferred that the win come much earlier.

This is because, by the time he reached Victory Lane, Busch was already out of Playoff contention. So, when the 2021 season arrives, he will be keen to mount a stronger challenge. Along with the likes of Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr, and Christopher Bell, Kyle will try and take the fight to Hendrick Motorsports.

Speaking of the Hendrick team, reigning champion Chase Elliott will have a massive target painted on his back. Aside from fending off his own teammates, he will have to keep a wary eye on the Kyle Busch-led Joe Gibbs Racing team.
