WATCH: NASCAR Driver Noah Gragson Breaks Into a Song Waiting for the Red Flag at Darlington

Noah Gragson is having a great 2020 NASCAR Xfinity season. He has already qualified for the Playoffs with 3 races remaining in the regular season. The 22-year-old drives the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports.

Noah has won 2 races in the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity series. He won the 1st race of the season at Daytona. Noah has 10 Top-5 completions till now in the current season.

He is also a part of the Drivers Edge Development Program. This program is a venture between Chevrolet, JR Motorsports, and GMS Racing. The program plans to prepare the up-and-coming division of racers through a layered competition system combined with complete off-course instruction.

During the Sport Clips VFW 200, Noah Gragson surprised his fans when he started singing. The incident happened when the race was red-flagged. He was singing ‘Break Up in the End’ by Cole Swindell.

Noah Gragson to remain in the NASCAR Xfinity Series

The driver is in great form. He will return to drive for the JR Motorsports team next season. JR Motorsports and Gragson both affirmed the agreement expansion. There were bits of gossip about Gragson possibly being elevated from JR Motorsports to the Hendrick Motorsports Cup Series group as the swap for the seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson in the driver’s seat of the #48 Chevrolet.

“I’m so glad we were able to get this deal done,” Gragson said in a Friday news release from JR Motorsports. This year has been great as we have a couple wins and are sitting third in the championship standings with a few races left before the playoffs.

“The No. 9 team along with everyone at the shop prepares fast cars every week and I can’t wait to drive their cars again next year. I’m so thankful for Kelley, Dale and everyone else at JRM. They treat everyone like family and they have become an extended family of mine.”
