Back in 2005, NBA star LeBron James made an appearance at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Over there, he had the challenge to make his way up the 36° banking to score. Admittedly, it was a struggle for the basketball star, because the banking was so steep. Eventually, he was able to conquer the slope and score.

At that time, James attended the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Sharpie 500 at the Bristol Motor Speedway. In that race, Matt Kenseth bagged pole position and went on to win the race. Behind him were Jeff Burton and Greg Biffle, with Ricky Rudd and Rusty Wallace in the Top-5.

Meanwhile, it is crunch time for the likes of Matt DiBenedetto, Ryan Blaney, Cole Custer, and William Byron. All four drivers will need a good result in order to escape from the drop zone.

Clint Bowyer, the Busch brothers, and Aric Almirola are also in danger if either of the quartet gets a good result. So, all the drivers will be focused on this weekend’s race at the Bristol Motor Speedway.
