Recently, Ryan Truex announced that he is joining the Niece Motorsports NASCAR Truck Series team. The 28-year-old is joining the team on a full-time basis, as compared to part-time in the 2020 season. In light of the move, he spoke to SiriusXM Radio about the move and what prompted him to sign.

He confessed, “It’s going to be nice, It’s a lot of weight lifted off my shoulders. Honestly, just getting it announced and signed. I’ve been part-time here, a lot of my career and this is only my third time running full-time.

“Feels good, feels like if I were to get it done, I’ve had a lot of deals over the years that have been close.”

This is largely down to the fact that there is no practice or qualifying. The notion threw everyone for a loop and became a massive spanner in the works. Luckily, Truex and Niece Motorsports is up for the challenge and firmly believe that they can overcome such problems.
