Many may not remember or even know this, but Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, has supported NASCAR, or at least on one occasion she has. But not in the way one would expect. This was back a couple of years ago, in 2020, after the noose controversy of Bubba Wallace.

After the incident, the next day, the entire NASCAR garage, all the drivers, all their crew, and team members, showed their support for Wallace as they rallied behind him in an act of solidarity and brotherhood.

This led Jada Pinkett Smith to commend them as she tweeted, “Come thru NASCAR! Come thru!!!”

Bubba Wallace was “mad” at people trying to test his character

After the FBI investigation, Bubba Wallace attracted a lot of unwarranted and senseless criticism. The current 23XI Racing driver stated in an interview how “mad” he was for the same.

“I’m mad because people are trying to test my character and the person that I am and my integrity,” he said.

Wallace insisted that the rope was really “a noose” regardless of when it was tied. “It wasn’t directed at me but somebody tied a noose. That’s what I’m saying,” he added.

While he admitted that the whole ordeal will frustrate him, the Talladega winner from 2021 emphasized that he won’t be affected by the incident. “It will piss me off, absolutely. But that only fuels the competitive drive in me to shut everybody up,” he added.
