It is safe to say the College Football Playoff National Championship game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the TCU Horned Frogs was pretty one-sided. The game ended with a score of 65-7 in favor of UGA winning their second straight National Championship. Many fans expected a close encounter in the finals so the blowout was a bit of a shocker for many. Bulldogs fans definitely don’t mind though. Following the game, many NBA stars posted their reactions on social media.
Several athletes expressed their appreciation for the Bulldogs’ dominant performance afterward. Although some people wished for a different result. In the end, everyone appreciated the effort the Georgia players put forth. There is no doubt that this game will go down in history as it has become the largest margin of victory in bowl game history.

Georgia’s blowout of TCU prompted reactions from NBA players
Many NBA superstars watched the National Championship game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the TCU Horned Frogs. The stars were as shocked as most fans with the blowout win. And some shared their reaction on social media. Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell shared his reaction on Twitter stating, “Let’s just call it lol Georgia champs”.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Hawks All-Star Point Guard Trae Young also took to social media to comment, “This has been an a** whoopin ~Respectfully”. Clearly, he liked their performance. Mark Williams, the Charlotte Hornets rookie, could not believe the margin by which the UGA won the championship noting, “This might be the worst title game I’ve ever watched”.

This 58-point margin surpassed the previous record that was set in 2018. Aside from making the largest margin of victory with this win, Georgia is the first team in ten years to win back-to-back national titles. Prior to this, Alabama had taken a consecutive victory. It happened back in 2011-2012.
