The NBA has seen some giants grace the game in its long history. However, no one really dominated the game like Shaquille O’Neal did. Mastering the drop step, the Big Diesel was almost unstoppable while carrying around a 7-foot frame with supernatural athleticism. Shaq was likely a force no one wanted to come up against.
However, even when standing at 7 feet 1 inch tall, the four-time NBA champion does not rank among the tallest players in the history of the game. But when it comes to ‘regular’ sized people, the legend is undoubtedly a larger-than-life figure. Towering most of the population, the Los Angeles Lakers great is a walking gentle giant.
