Shaq’s take on the Grizzlies came days after his daughter Me’arah O’Neal expressed her newfound love for the dunks of Ja Morant. However, Shaq’s recent comment could make his daughter upset.

Ja Morant has had an impressive season leading the Grizzlies with 989 points in 36 games averaging 27.5 points. Moreover, he impressed the NBA world with his insane dunking skills, not to forget Me’arah O’Neal’s excitement after witnessing the same. Morant’s imposing dunks and athleticism even fetched him multiple drug tests. However, despite all the accolades, Shaq praised the defending champions at the expense of Morant’s Grizzlies during his podcast recently.

In a recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaquille O’Neal spoke about the prowess of the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference. When co-host Nischelle Turner asked Shaq whether the Dubs are scared of any team, Shaq, who earlier revealed that the Dubs are his favorite team this season, didn’t name a single team that the Dubs are scared of. Later, the NBA legend Jamal Crawford felt that the Warriors were scared of the Grizzlies. The Big Aristotle interrupted Crawford and said, “They beat Memphis! they killed them a couple of weeks ago, destroyed them.”

However, Me’arah O’Neal could hate Shaq’s statement after her new-found love for Morant’s dunk. Recently, impressed by Morant’s dunk, Me’arah took to her Instagram to share the dunk clip on her story. Moreover, she wrote, “Omggg!!!!” clearly signaling her awe for Morant’s dunk. 

NBA world ridicules Shaq for his take on Morant

Recently, the NBA world called out Shaq for his blunder.
