In this NBA season, we’re witnessing great games from a number of players, and indeed this season has a greater degree of difficulty than previous seasons. A player has created news that has shocked a lot of fans, particularly LeBron James fans. This season, Donovan Mitchell started with a solid performance, or in other words, a historic performance for the Cleveland Cavaliers. His three games at the beginning of the season were a result of the buzz that has been going on regarding his on-court performances on social media.

As with the first match of the season against the Toronto Raptors, he scored 31 points. This marks the first time a Cavaliers player has crossed 30 points in their debut in a long time. As a follow-up, Mitchell made another 30-piece performance in the following the match against the Chicago Bulls.

It was shocking for every fan. It was the first time in the history of the Cavaliers that a player made back-to-back 30-point games in their first two matches. The next game he played was against the Washington Wizards, and guess what he did. Totally correct if you thought he’d make another 30-point performance.

This player made a season-high 37 points during this game. Combining all three matches shows this player has made three straight 30-point games in all matches since the season began. We find this even more shocking when we look at the former players who played for this team.

According to social media, James’ fans are having a hard time accepting these statistics. The three-time All-Star becoming the first player in franchise history to develop a surprising record like this left fans in disbelief.

It was with the Cavaliers that James made his NBA debut, having been selected first overall in the 2003 draft. He played with the team through the 2009–10 season, and that was a lengthy period of time.
