The three-point king Stephen Curry is not just famous for his shooting ability during games, but also during shoot-around and practice. The veteran guard has always managed to hype the crowd with his pre-game rituals such as tunnel shots, high floaters, and half-court shots. However, the 2x MVP’s latest attempt to get some cheers from the crowd ended with an unfortunate twist. 

The Warriors hosted the Milwaukee Bucks today for their final matchup of the regular season. During the warm-up ahead of the game, fans who were looking forward to Curry’s pre-game ritual ended up disappointed after the four-time NBA champion uncharacteristically missed a full-court shot by some distance.

The excitement was palpable ahead of the Golden State Warriors‘ ultimate face-off against the Milwaukee Bucks. The defending champions of the previous two seasons in the NBA are two of the most loved teams in the NBA. Though the Bucks’ main man Giannis Antetokounmpo was out with an injury, Milwaukee put up a valiant fight against the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry joined the Warriors, who were on a 5-game win streak, only to go on a 0-3 run since his return. The DubNation was looking forward to the team ending its losing streak against the Bucks today. 

Curry, who was warming up to get his first win since the return, pulled up from the other end of the court to hype the crowd. It’s no wonder the 4x NBA champion has made unbelievable shots look easy. However, this time, Curry’s full-court shot attempt ended up as a nightmare for a ball boy, who took a hit to his face while standing under the rim.

How does the playoff road look for the Warriors?

The team which was comfortable in the 5th seed took a blow after their 0-3 run against the Grizzlies, Thunder, and Lakers. The Warriors currently stand as the 6th seed with a record of 35-33 after the win over the Bucks. Considering the competitiveness in the Western Conference, it will not be easy for the Warriors to stay put.
