Days After Iconic Matchup With Carmelo Anthony’s Son, Bronny James Faced Yet Another Matchup Close to LeBron James’ Heart

Bronny James, the eldest of LeBron James has already made himself worthy to take his father’s legacy forward. The 18-year-old built a $10 million empire at a young age with a huge social media following of around 6.1 million. Moreover, Bronny recently paid tribute to James by recreating his iconic moment after 20 years. He made his ESPN live broadcast debut on the 20th anniversary of the Los Angeles Lakers great’s first feature on ESPN in 2002. Notably, Bronny recently faced Carmelo Anthony’s son, Kiyan Anthony. Furthermore, he faced yet another match-up which is close to ‘King James’ heart.

Currently, Bronny James plays as a point guard for his high school, Sierra Canyon in Southern California. ESPN ranked him 34 in their recruiter’s database with a 4-star prospect. Bronny’s brother, Bryce James, who also plays for the same high school, recently signed his NIL contract.

LeBron James witnesses another iconic match-up

As luck would have it, Bronny James played his last ever high school game against his father’s alma mater. The four-time NBA champion played for St. Vincent-St. Mary during his high school days. The iconic match-up didn’t go well for Bronny however, as Sierra Canyon lost the game 67-61. Bronny managed to score 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Bronny eventually fouled out of the game in the fourth quarter with more than two minutes left. Bryce James, who was expected to make an appearance, couldn’t make it.

James led St. Vincent-St. Mary to three state titles and he went on to become the number one overall NBA draft pick in 2003. In the previous match-up between Bronny and Kiyan Anthony, Sierra Canyon emerged victorious. Bronny scored 12 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists which led his team to a 62-51 victory. Many NBA stars like LeBron James, Scottie Pippen, and Carmelo Anthony made an appearance at the game.

The Akron Hammer’s younger son, Bryce James recently signed a NIL contract with Klutch Sports, a sports agency run by LeBron James’ friend, Rich Paul. The agency will now handle any brand deals and endorsements for the upcoming star.
