Without Kevin Durant, the Nets were led by NBA guard Kyrie Irving who managed to score 20 points against his former team. Meanwhile, the Celtics had their fans on the edge of their seat as Tatum and Brown helped take a 46-16 lead within the first quarter of the game.

Boston maintained a lead throughout the game as they moved to the third quarter with a 79-45 lead. They finished the game with an impressive 43-point difference. Tatum finished with a game-high of 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. Whereas, Brown scored 26 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Jaylen Brown might leave the Celtics

In 2019, Jaylen Brown signed a four-year contract extension worth $106.3 million. The Celtics guard has one more year left before his contract expires and he becomes an unrestricted free agent. According to Sean Deveney of Heavy Sports, if Brown reaches any kind of disagreement with the way the Celtics work things out in the future, then the 2021 NBA All-Star may even leave the team.
