He even played with LeBron for four seasons and the duo reached 4 straight finals and won 2 titles together. But even without LeBron, Wade had won a title on his own and he was named the Finals MVP for his efforts. He was a dominant force even before LeBron came and he was one of the top players in the league for several years.

It was game 3 of the 2006 NBA Finals. The Heat were trailing the Dallas Mavericks 2-0 in the series and was looking at a 0-3 deficit with less than six minutes left in the fourth quarter. They were down by 13 and needed a massive rally to beat a resurgent Dallas team.

Their coach, Pat Riley, called a timeout, and everyone was quiet in the huddle. He wrote the word ‘SEASON’ on a piece of paper. Wade quickly understood what he meant. Their season was on the line and this was his time to step up. He got up and said this is not how he’s going to go out. And the rest is history.

Wade would score 12 of the Heat’s last 22 points and he finished with 22. The Heat rallied back to win the game and would go on to win three more games, clinching the first title in franchise history. Wade was named the Finals MVP averaging 34.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.7 steals in the series.
