Jay Williams, in a recent interview with Max Kellerman and Keyshawn, chose Stephen Curry over LeBron James. There is no doubt Williams has been a great fan of Curry. Williams has credited the Warriors star on several occasions, but this might be the highest praise he has given to Curry.

Jay Williams put up a big question, “What’s the LeBron James signature move, the kids are trying to do?”. Further, he mentions “But I see every kid in the park….’ Steph Curry three from half court. Steph Curry. Shoot. Turn. Look away!’. Williams added, “It’s the same thing as MJ man. It has the same impact and I have never seen a player, change the geometry of a basketball court.”

Williams goes on to credit Curry, “I watch college games, high school games, varsity kids, 3-on-1 fast breaks taking 10 feet behind the 3-point line….. It’s the ‘Steph Curry’ effect, but I don’t see the ‘LeBron James’ effect like that”. Moreover, Max Kellerman and Keyshawn agreed with Jay Williams, as they believe Curry is the most influential player.

Who has a better chance at the title this year?

The Warriors and the Lakers have had pretty rough starts to their seasons. Though the Warriors have bounced back to the current sixth seed, the Lakers have fallen down to the 13th seed in the Western Conference. Both LeBron James and Stephen Curry have been leading their teams from the front, averaging more than 30 points a game each. Curry continues to put in match-winning performances, even after his injury the previous month.
