If there is one team that Luka Doncic loves to play against, it is arguably the Los Angeles Clippers. Doncic has put in some historic performances against them and he has been a huge problem for the Clippers. The Dallas Mavericks star continued to destroy the Clippers as he hit a monster shot in the clutch recently and set the NBA world on fire.

Doncic’s first two playoff series were against the Los Angeles Clippers. Even though his team could not get past them, he put in tremendous performances against them. Doncic has hit many clutch shots, and he has given NBA fans plenty of highlight reels. And he continued his excellent showing against them as he hit a huge shot to seal the game.

The Mavs were up by just 1 point and the game was in its last minute. The Clippers played excellent defense on the Mavs and they almost forced a turnover. But the ball somehow found its way to the three-time All-Star.

With the shot clock running down, Doncic took a look at the basket and let go in one smooth motion, nailing the shot and giving the Mavs a four-point lead with less than 28 seconds on the clock.

NBA fans went wild seeing Doncic hit the game-winner. The 23-year-old Slovenian has been playing like one of the best players in the world so far this season and this shot is further evidence of that.

Doncic continues to make his case for MVP

Luka Doncic has been on a tear this season and he is arguably the favorite to win MVP. He has been averaging 34.3 PPG, 8.7 RPG, and 8.1 APG on nearly 50% shooting from the field. Out of the 13 games he has played this season, Luka has scored 30 points or more in 11 of them. And he continued to make his case for the league MVP with another outstanding performance, dropping 35 in the latest win. The Mavericks are now 8-5 for the season so far.

The Dallas Mavericks were up as many as 25 and it looked like the game was over by the half. But the Clippers stormed back in the third quarter and they took the lead in the fourth. The game was back and forth after that, but the Mavs had a slight lead in the closing minutes. The Clippers cut it one, and it looked like they would get a chance to win the game. But ‘Luka Magic’ called game instead.
