With the top teams of the West going head to head, it was all a bit worth it. The Phoenix Suns edged out the Golden State Warriors in a close contest. In the absence of Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole stepped up yet again. However, poor showings from Klay Thompson have caused outrage among the Warrior fans.

The Splash Brothers duo make for one of the most terrifying backcourts in the league. Curry and Klay both left teams haunted with their shooting superiority. But with Klay out, Steph really stepped up his game to make up for Klay’s absence. But when it has come time for Klay, the splash brother hasn’t delivered to the pressure.

Warriors fans done with Klay Thompson?

The Suns solidified their place as the best team in the NBA after beating the now fourth-seeded Warriors. In the 107-103 loss, Poole was yet again the main offensive weapon for the Bay. But he didn’t get any help from the stars. Both Klay Thompson and Wiggins struggled to get things going and couldn’t contribute to their best.

Poole led the Warrior’s forces with a massive performance. He put up 38 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in the losing effort. However, off nights for Klay and Wiggins did not help. They shot a combined 11-37 from the field while adding just 32 points to the mix. Their inconsistencies have hurt the Warriors who are majorly missing Stephen Curry.

It seemed no star could get things going. A hot Devin Booker went cold, scoring 22 points on 5-22 shooting. Mikel Bridges led the way with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Chris Paul took the job of being the facilitator, yet again dishing out 8 assists. With this win, the Suns made it 9 straight as they head closer to the playoffs.

With Klay not getting things going, do you think Jordan Poole needs to be the bigger priority?
