Neither Stephen Curry nor Aaron Rodgers is alien to receive awards. At this point in their careers, their trophy cases would be running out of place for more silverware. The two players have been nominated for a few awards ahead of the biggest night in sports awards ‘ESPYs’. Stephen Curry took home some serious gold this season. Curry won the conference final MVP, all-star MVP, Finals MVP, and the Larry O’Brien trophy. Consequently, Curry broke the three-pointer record as he overtook Ray Allen for the feat.
Aaron Rodgers also had a phenomenal season. In addition, the quarterback has been nominated for two major awards for the 2022 ESPYS. The Green Bay Packers quarterback won the NFL MVP award for the second straight year in 2021. Furthermore, Rodgers was nominated for ‘Best Athlete, Men’s Sports’ and ‘Best NFL Player’ at the ESPYs.
