“I Got Work to Do in Other Places Too”: LeBron James’ Doppelganger at the FIFA World Cup Incites Hilarious Reactions From ‘The King’ and Ex-Lakers Star

Have you wondered why LeBron James missed the previous five games for the Los Angeles Lakers? Well, according to the billionaire himself, he has got work to do in other places too. Such as representing Cameroon at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

‘King James’ recently responded to a photo of his doppelganger. Not only did James respond to his lookalike, but so did ex-Lakers star Kyle Kuzma.

An Instagram reel and a Twitter post have recently gone viral on the internet recently. On Twitter, one user shared a photo of two soccer stars, one from Cameroon, Bryan Mbeumo, and the other from Brazil, Richarlison. What’s surprising is that the fan noticed Mbeumo looks a lot like LeBron, as Richarlison looks like Kuzma. It didn’t take long for Kuzma to retweet the post with multiple laughing emoticons and tag King James.

And a reel is going viral on Instagram where Bryan Mbeumo is compared to LeBron. In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers great even posted a story on Instagram reacting to the reel. The caption said, “I mean I got work to do in other places too.”

This is not the first time James reacted to a doppelganger. Throughout the years, the four-time NBA champion has encountered many lookalikes, but Patrick Christopher remains one of the most shocking encounters. Furthermore, in November 2021, Christopher made an appearance at the Staples Center. And a perfect picture was taken when James and Christopher are seen in a single frame. The image quickly went viral as a fan said, “Lebron is so good he is Playing and watching the game at the same time.”

LeBron James has missed five games in a row due to a lingering groin injury. But there is some good news for Lakers fans as James is slated to return to the court this Friday against the San Antonio Spurs. Although he was not playing in the game, LeBron James was seen on the sidelines encouraging his teammates.

The Los Angeles Lakers 5-11 record so far this season has come as a sock to fans. However, James appears appears to be ready to return to the court soon. He has averaged 24.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game so far in the 10 games he has played in.
