The 2022-23 NBA Campaign for the Golden State Warriors has been underwhelming, to say the least. Stephen Curry has been continuously in and out of injury, throughout the season. Their title-winning season last year seems more and more unlikely with each game. On top of all that, the Warrior’s essential player has been also missing in their line-up for other concerning reasons. The player who stood side-by-side with Curry in their seventh title win for the franchise has been missing since the 13th of February.

The Dubs fans have expressed a lot of concern about Andrew Wiggins’ absence from the squad since last month. Over the past few weeks, there have been speculations on his mysterious leave from the Dubs as fans worry about his and his family’s safety.

Andrew Wiggins hasn’t quite really been regular in the Warriors line-up. The 28-year-old has played a total of 37 games this season while missing quite a few games due to his adductor strain, a foot injury, and an illness.

Despite all of this the 2022 NBA Champion has shown his defensive capabilities in the little time he spent on the court. Understandably, the Dubs fans feel the importance of one of their best players from last season. His absence from the line-up is due to an ongoing family matter. Neither the player nor the team has spoken any further on this particular subject.

The reports of him returning to the team have also been confusing, as coach Stev Kerr promised his return against the Los Angeles Lakers after the All-Star break. Naturally, all the incomplete information has led to increased anxiety among the fans as they get increasingly worried.

However, despite all of these concerning issues the Warriors have managed to fight back after the disappointing loss against the Los Angeles Lakers, winning three games on the trot.

Does the Stephen Curry side have a future in the playoffs?

The Dubs fans would be delighted to see their team jump back to the fifth position after spending most of the season somewhere around the bottom half. Their last three wins were impressive, especially without their main man, Stephen Curry.

This has increased their chances for a playoff spot. However, the question remains, what would the team do if Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins are not back in the squad in full form by the postseason.
