Jerami Grant is currently recovering from a Ulnar Collateral Ligament(UCL) injury in his right thumb, despite that, he remains one of the hottest stars in the trading season.
Grant is eligible for a four year extension worth upto $112 million. This makes him the player to follow during the trade season. He averages 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists this season.
Trade market problems for Russell Westbrook

It might not be as easy as it seems due to Westbrook’s salary. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, “The Athletic’s Sam Amick reported this week that the Lakers have had internal discussions about possibly trading Russell Westbrook, but according to my sources around the NBA, the appetite for that player making $44 million this season and $47 million the next is low.“
With Westbrook possibly having his worst season since his rookie year, the Lakers might want to replace him, and not many suitors come to play for the point guard. Only a playoff hungry team could come in for Westbrook as he still gives the competitiveness needed to land a top 10 finish.
