The Philadelphia 76ers’ dynamic pair Joel Embiid and James Harden are on the roll. On December 23, the Sixers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers by 119-114. This marked their seventh straight victory led by Embiid and Harden. It seems like Harden’s trade to the Sixers has significantly strengthened the team. The game against the Clippers was a treat to the eyes and could be considered one of the best wins of the season. Following the victory, Embiid’s comments about his partnership with Harden only served as an indirect warning for the rest of the NBA teams.

In 2022, the Brooklyn Nets traded Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, and Seth Curry. The Sixers have won 19 games out of the 31 played so far and are currently positioned fifth in the Eastern Conference.

Evidently, both Embiid and Harden are aiming to work on getting better for the team. This somehow suggests that the duo, who just led their team to seven straight wins, have not really reached their top potential yet. One could only imagine what it would mean for the other teams once Embiid and Harden perfect their skills as a pair.
