LeBron James is one of the most popular athletes around the world. But it’s safe to say that he wasn’t welcome in Paris during the Champions League final. LeBron was there to support his team, Liverpool, and not only did his team lose, but fans in the stadium also booed him. And a conservative author slammed the billionaire athlete and said he deserved it.
James is one of the owners of Liverpool FC and he went to Paris to watch the UCL Finals. And coincidentally, his seat was near the supporters of Real Madrid who weren’t happy seeing him supporting the opponents. They heckled LeBron and booed him and even shouted “Michael Jordan is better” chants.

It’s safe to say LeBron has not had a great year. First, his team, the Los Angeles Lakers missed the playoffs despite having multiple superstars and LeBron himself having a hell of a year. Bron received a lot of stick for the way the team was constructed and his inability to lead the team to the playoffs.

Despite all that, Forbes announced that LeBron is officially a billionaire. He is the third player in the NBA to reach that milestone and the first one to do it, while he was playing still. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant were the other two, but they reached that milestone after retiring from the game.
LeBron in the coming season will have a chip on his shoulder and a will to prove everyone wrong again. Even his team, Liverpool, has vowed they will avenge this defeat and be back in the Finals again next year.
