LeBron James Praises Anthony Davis’ Performance against the Chicago Bulls

LeBron James and Anthony Davis stole the show against the Chicago Bulls. The Lakers duo led the team over the Bull for their ninth consecutive win on the road, and showed why they are one of the best combinations in the NBA. Right now, the Los Angeles Lakers are living up to the monicker of favorites to win the NBA championship.

LBJ shows love to Anthony Davis for his performance

After the game, Lakers’ Jared Dudley took to Twitter to praise Anthony Davis’ performance. LeBron James responded to Dudley’s tweet, saying “FACTS!!!!!!!” The tweet had a GIF of a man on fire, showcasing how Davis was on fire against the Chicago Bulls, his hometown team.

Anthony Davis was fantastic against the Bulls. He scored season-high 37 points, along with 3 assists, and 6 rebounds. Davis was the best player for the Lakers as they trounced the Chicago Bulls for the second time this season. LeBron James had a quieter night than usual, only scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. He even had a rare missed dunk during the game.

Luckily for the Lakers, the duo of James and Davis complement each other very well. When one of them has an off night, the other steps up big time and helps lead the Lakers to a victory. So far this season, Davis has not been performing to the level he was expected to. But his performance against the Bulls could be the catalyst to kick-start his season.

James, on the other hand, has been the best player for the Lakers so far. James is currently averaging 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Currently, LeBron is one of the front runners for the MVP race so far. But his performances have been the reason the Lakers are currently 13-4 with the best record in the NBA.

If the Lakers stand any chance to go back-to-back and win another NBA championship, Anthony Davis must continue performing to the level he did tonight. Prior to this game, analysts questioned whether Davis would be able to replicate his form from last season. However, with his performance tonight, he may have silenced many of his critics going forward into the season.

Can Anthony Davis lead the Lakers to the NBA championship? He and LeBron James are crucial to the success of the Lakers, and he must continue to put on performances like this for their chances to improve.
