For the last two years, the Los Angeles Clippers have eliminated them in the first round. But this time, the story is different as they hold a 3-2 series lead over the Utah Jazz and will look to close them out in game 6. And with Luka Doncic playing with so much swagger and confidence, they will feel like they can go through with ease.

Dallas will look to advance but they have a tough task

In the last two years, the Mavs have faced the Clippers in the first round. And they have had to deal with injuries as well. Even though they were up on the Clippers last year, they let them come back and win the series in 7. They weren’t able to get Doncic consistent help and this has hurt them dearly. However, this time it’s different. When Doncic was out, Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie stepped up and they carried the Mavs. And with Luka back and firing on all cylinders, the Mavs will feel like they can advance to the next round.
