James Harden is arguably one of the best scorers NBA has ever seen. After leading the Houston Rockets to multiple deep playoff runs, ‘the Beard’ has now joined a stacked Brooklyn Nets.

Ever since his arrival to the team, the Nets have had the best offensive rating ever. Playing alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Harden has showed a different side to his overall game. He has become the primary distributor of the ball and can take in the scoring load at will.

The Beard‘ has been absolutely unstoppable with the Nets and continues to be a menace for other team defenses.

Duncan Robinson explains why James Harden is the most difficult player to guard in NBA

Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson recently made an appearance on the Long Shot podcast. There, the 26-year-old explained why James Harden is probably the most difficult player to guard in the league.

Robinson said, “I think James Harden has to be up there for a variety of reasons. One, just because how he plays, you know, he’s he, you might see him take 10, 12, 15, maybe even dribbles on a given possession.”

“So if he has a matchup that he likes, which is, you know, most matchups are favorable for him given how, you know, offensively gifted he is, he’s going to draw you out and take his time, and really keep you on that island.”

He added, “So I would say James Harden is up there. And then obviously, just the firepower right now around him is that it’s not like you can really load up to the ball, because then you’re taking bodies off of you know, Kyrie, or Durant.

“So I would probably say he is up there for sure. His combination of skill, strength, he’s incredibly strong. I don’t think a lot of people realize that.”

Given that Robinson has played against LeBron James in the NBA finals, it was surprising that he didn’t mention ‘the King’ as one of the most difficult players to guard in the league.

Regardless, James Harden is finally looking like he is in a team which has adequate support for him. With his prime running out, Harden and the Nets will look to win the NBA title this season.
