Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league currently. Moreover, with his fourth NBA title recently, he has likely established himself as one of the best to ever do it.
However, there was a possibility that NBA fans could have never witnessed Chef Curry in action. The reason was that Steph’s parents had thought about aborting him. Talking in an interview, Steph’s mother, Sonya, talked about how she did not keep this a secret from Steph.
She also talked about revealing some things that parents want to keep a secret but are necessary during the development process of a child.

Sonya said, “I had shared it with him. I just think sometimes with parents we got to hide things, and you know, the kids wanted to know that we’re real. It’s not a fairy tale out here. We tried to deliberately share some things with them.”

Led by Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors clinched the 2022 NBA Finals 4-2. Curry averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in the Finals. These numbers gave the four-time NBA champion his first ever Finals MVP award.
