Shaunie Henderson, the former wife of NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, recently talked about her newly married life with her husband, Pastor Keion Henderson. The famous TV star married Henderson earlier this year; surrounded by a VH1 camera crew at the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Gold Club. While talking about her upcoming special Shaunie & Keion’s Destination “I Do”, Shaunie Henderson, who nearly cost ex-husband Shaquille O’Neal $200 million, appeared to be happy with her newfound love.
In a recent interview with Black Enterprise, Shaunie Henderson and her husband Pastor Keion Henderson talked about their wedding. The couple shared how they were adjusting to their new journey together. Shaunie also talked about her transformation from being a Basketball Wives star to taking up a new role as the pastor’s first lady.

Further, Shaunie talked about her struggles with what the people expected of her as the first lady. However, her husband, Keion Henderson, showed his trust in her. He motivated Shaunie to be her ‘genuine self’. Her husband’s words helped Shaunie make peace with the fact that she could not meet everyone’s expectations.
Moreover, Shaunie added, “My husband is fine with me being genuinely me. And that’s what I’m going to be. I still accomplished many of the first lady’s expectations by bringing my genuine self and love and care for the people with me because that’s just who I authentically am.”
The ex-wife of Shaquille O’Neal shared that her new husband supported her, and that helped her accomplish many milestones as the first lady, with love and care.
Shaquille O’Neal almost lost $200 million to ex-wife, Shaunie
Shaquille O’Neal’s invaluable contribution to the NBA earned him a great deal of money. However, the Lakers legend, who’s worth $400 million, almost lost half of his wealth after filing for a divorce in 2011. Shaq had a prenup in place, valid in the state of Florida. However, the prenup would have been null and void in the state of California; where Shaunie Henderson lived with her kids at the time.

Luckily for O’Neal, he was with the Miami Heat and the divorce proceedings were filed in the State of Florida. Thus, Shaq got saved from losing a hefty $200 million in divorce settlement to his ex-wife.
As per a report, Shaq also pays his former wife $100,000 a month as child support for their four children together.
