Recently, it was reported that Gordon Hayward will be out for weeks because of a fracture in his left shoulder. Once again his availability is questionable. And if the condition gets worse, then Hayward may miss the current season as well. This will be bad news for the fans and the franchise.

Hayward has played in the NBA for 12 seasons and has been one of the most consistent performers for the teams he has played for. Throughout his career, he has played 745 games averaging 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game with a field goal percentage of 45.3. Looking at the impressive stats Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets offered him a 4 year $120 million contract.

In his 12 years long career he has only been a part of one All-Star game. And during his tenure with the Hornets, on January 6, 2021, he set a new career high by dropping 44 points and earning the victory for the team against the Atlanta Hawks.
