LeBron James has often led the Los Angeles Lakers out of the danger zone and over the finish line in many NBA games. The Lakers talisman has proved himself to be a cornerstone at all the franchises that he has played for. Despite his talismanic abilities, the Lakers have suffered losses this season. A former NBA player recently commented on a significant play during a Lakers game.

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal commented on Ja Morant’s much-talked-about block against LeBron’s Lakers. While speaking on ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’ O’Neal’s co-hosts brought up Morant while discussing potential NBA All-Stars for the season. O’Neal shockingly dismissed Morant’s block and refused to hype it up.

O’Neal said, “Stop it, that block was okay. Cut it out. Shannon Brown’s block was way better than that. Nischelle, do you know who I am? Do you know what I have been through? Do you know what I have seen? But I ain’t hating him. So I have seen 37 years of people getting their sh*t blocked.”

In the game between the Grizzlies and LeBron’s Lakers, Morant put up an exceptional block early in the first quarter. It started with Avery Bradley dispossessing Morant and starting a quick break. Bradley attempted a layup, but Morant thwarted his attempt as he made a spectacular jump to produce a two-handed block.

Morant denied the Lakers an excellent attacking chance. LeBron himself acknowledged Morant’s mesmerizing block. Describing Morant’s block, LeBron said, “it was a spectacular play. It was a great play. Salute.”
