Owing to a personal decision, Irving has been on the sidelines for a while now. Renowned analyst Stephen A. Smith is extremely unimpressed at the 29-year-old’s commitment ever since the news broke out. Now, he has questioned Kyrie’s intentions, claiming that the former Celtics star cannot be trusted.

After a blockbuster start where he earned some of his best numbers, Kyrie Irving was aghast as injuries came back to haunt him. His absence was a key feature of the Nets’ exit last year. Since then, the crack between the player and team has only gotten bigger. Fans are going berserk, with some questioning his dedication and some backing his decisions fully. Additionally, he has been posting some cryptic messages on social media, drawing blanks from NBA buffs.

Many-a-time, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith has expressed his disbelief over how disinterested Kyrie Irving has been during the off-season. The starlet believes in something, and refuses to change his stance on it. While has has received the utmost support from his teammates like Durant and Harden, Smith is having none of it. “I have complaining about Kyrie Irving’s commitment and I will validate it,” claimed the 54-year-old.

On ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A told Jay Williams how untrustworthy he considers the 7-time All-star. “KD signed his extension right? KD signed his extension. James Harden has an extension that he can sign anytime he wants to. There was $196 million on the table for Kyrie Irving.” Smith was complaining about Kyrie using his privilege to play when he wants to. “You think that $196 million is gonna be available in January? You’re damn right it ain’t. And why? Not because of this, because there’s a history that he can’t be trusted.”
