The Golden State Warriors went up against the Utah Jazz in the hopes of improving their record. Working their way to make it two wins in a row, the Warriors had a tough matchup against the Jazz, who were on a roll at the start of the season. Currently, the Utah Jazz is sitting 3rd in the Western Conference table as opposed to Stephen Curry and co. who are down in 11th place.

For the Warriors to defeat the Jazz, it would take more than just a dazzling performance from Stephen Curry. Players like Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins all had to contribute.

Draymond Green getting trolled by fans

Curry was on his game as he had a good first half. The Warriors led the Jazz going into half-time. But Klay Thompson on the other hand arguably did not shoot the ball well as he only had 2 points for the game’s first half.

The Jazz had been playing exceptionally well, provided that the team had no true superstar on the roster. It has been their ball rotation and good shot selection that has worked for them so far this season.

But during the game, Draymond Green was livid over a no-call by the referee. Green hit the deck holding his face and was not happy with the officials. He urged the referees for a foul saying, “Can I please get a foul, Zach!” And fans decided to troll Green on it.

One fan tweeted, “Petty lmao.” While another fan commented, “Baby! Cry cry cry!”

Here are some more reactions from NBA Twitter:

The Warriors eventually took the win 129-118 but that does not take away from players like Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen, two players who have really elevated their game this season.

Stephen Curry leads the way for the Warriors

But there arguably hasn’t been any player on the Warriors squad who has managed to have a breakout season apart from Stephen Curry. It has been a Curry show through and through so far. Klay Thompson has been gradually getting in touch with his older form but has yet to have a consistent outburst of high-scoring games.

The Warriors are a small ball team when compared to the Utah Jazz. The big men for the Utah Jazz certainly had an advantage over Kevon Looney and Draymond Green. But the Jazz lacked a lockdown defender who could shut down Stephen Curry.

This win improves the Golden State Warriors‘ overall record as they have now won two games in a row.
