Luka Doncic led Mavericks have impressively recovered from an initial blow to the season. They won three of their last four clashes to make it even with a 4-4 record. On the other hand, the Orlando Magic blew their initial success to now stand at 6-3.

A lot of credit for the Mavs’ turnaround in this season goes to Luka Doncic. He changed gears from that game against the Miami Heat where he scored a 27-point double-double. Since then, his performance has only gotten better and the same form continued against the Orlando Magic as well.

The most lethal weapon for the Orlando-based franchise, Nikola Vucevic was the only player who could show some resilience against Mavs’ defense.

Very certainly, the first half went to the Mavs. However, the Orlando Magic took an initial lead in the third quarter to match the score 59-59.
