The tension between Mavericks and Suns continues to rise

Over the 5 games in this series, it has become clear that there is serious spite between these two teams. Powered by a strong will, Dallas and Phoenix are both unwilling to let their hand go. With Game 5 entering its closing moments, Chriss fouled Biyombo from behind. After exchanging a few words, the two got physical and started shoving each other. But it didn’t stop there.

Marquese Chriss chased down Biyombo even into the tunnels. The security was really sloppy, letting the two meet up after the ejections. However, that didn’t help Dallas in any way, as they are now one game away from elimination.

The Suns poured on everything they had on the Mavericks tonight. Taking the support of the home crowd, Devin Booker led the way with 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. DeAndre Ayton also enjoyed a solid game, finishing with 20 points and 9 rebounds to his name. Chris Paul still seems to be rattled from the last game as he contributed with just 7 points and 10 assists to go with 4 turnovers.

Luka Doncic was the force of Dallas once again. He tied the game-high 28 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds and 3 steals. Jalen Brunson found some rhythm after his last game, putting up 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. However, the offense really struggled to get things going shooting just 38% from the floor in Game 5.
